Summary

Introduced with the US Free Trade Agreement Implementation Bill 2004, the bill amends the

Customs Tariff Act 1995
to vary customs duty for certain goods and include a regulation-making power, in order to implement Australia’s obligations under the Australia-United States Free Trade Agreement which is due to commence on 1 January 2005.
